| At the Lace Guild AGM various groups put on displays to highlight their work, and this year Jennifer Williams and Lynne Webber put on a display of tatting for the Ring. They were delighted when they won the Joyce Symes Trophy for best display in show. It was a great surprise for them as they didn't know there was a competition! |

| The giant fan makes a great focal point. It is constructed from a normal tatted fan at the base which is built up into a much larger fan with no less than 30 miniature fans. The pattern for this fan brooch can be found in a fairly recent RoT newsletter. |
