Cheddar Lace Fair, February 2003

This event was held at the village of Creech St. Michael near Cheddar in Somerset, where the cheese comes from. Jean Johnston organized a stand to promote the Ring of Tatters. The theme was "Seasonal Tatting " with one board for each season. A good idea for any other tatters organizing an exhibition.

Here is something new, a 3D bunch of tatted grapes!
The picture was sent in by Doreen Roads. She was lucky enough to attend a workshop at Cheddar given by Karey Solomon, well-known American teacher of tatting. The pattern is in Karey's book "Tree of Life".
