| This year our members in Wales staged a truly magical
winter celebration in tatting. They even used this year's
fashionable Christmas colour scheme of black and white! The
high quality is made possible by the lively tatting scene
that has developed in South Wales. The tatting is provided
by three groups, the Isca Tatters (Caerleon) led by Lynne
Webber and Jean Johnston, the Cwmbran Tatters (who are
working for a tatting qualification under Lynne's
leadership), and the Cardiff Picot Group led by Jennifer
Williams. As a spin-off from this Show another new group has
formed, the Seaside Shuttles at Penarth! |

| This must be a first - a tatted Flower Shop! The idea for
this came to Lynne Webber as a 'natural development' from
the flowers in pots made for last year's show. Her husband
constructed the shop. |
 |
| The next 'natural development' was the Hat Shop! It came
about because somebody spotted some tiny straw hats and
realised their potential. Members each decorated hats as they
wished, finishing them off with a tatted trimming. |
