Here a thick glittering thread called Arista by Anchor was used.

Wind thread onto two shuttles. Sh1 Ring 5 - 2 - 2 - 2 - 2 - 2 - 5 close, RW, Chain 2 - 2 - 2 - 2 - 2 - 1, Lock Join to last picot of ring, (Chain 1 - 1, Lock Join to next picot on Ring) 2 times, Chain 1, Sh2 Josephine knot 8, Sh1 Ch 1, Lock Join to next picot on Ring, (Ch 1 - 1, Lock Join to next picot on Ring) 2 times, Ch 1 - 2 - 2 - 2 - 2 - 2, Cut Sh1 thread 14 inches long and hook it up through the space between the Ring and the first Chain. Now use this cut end as the core thread for a spiral chain if wanted, otherwise fasten off here. (For spiral chain work all first half or all second half DS.)

Work two hearts and chains and attach to a hair grip (Kirby grip).
