NB Please read each SR before starting and remember if there is a b in the SR to place a bead on the core thread before starting. Outer row, first half – Two shuttles, Wsh1 with no. 20 thread & 63 beads and Wsh2 with no. 80 thread & 14 beads. More beads will be needed to add to picots before joining. Shuttles do not need to be tied together – just start R1 and second half of SR2 leaving long ends.
Using Wsh2 with no. 80 thread start R1: 6 – 6 +B(2nd p of R1 of centre row) 6 – 6 SR2: 8 / 4 BBB b 4 +(3rd p R1 using Wsh2) SR3: 8 / 4 BBB b 4 SR4: 8 / 4 BBB b 4 R5: 16 +B(SR of centre row R) 8 – 8 SR6: 10 / B 3 vlp(½”) 2 vlp(¼”) 1 Cl SLT & change to Wsh1 *R7: 4 +B(last R) 4 +B(next SR of centre row) 4 – 4 SLT & change to Wsh2 SR8: 10 / 1 +(2nd vlp of last SR adding 3 B before joining) 2 +(1st vlp of last SR adding 7 B before joining) 3 R9: 8 +B(last p of last R) 8 +B(next p of centre row R) 8 – 8 SR10: 10 / B 3 vlp(½”) 2 vlp(¼”) 1 Cl SLT & change to Wsh1 Repeat from * 4 times then R7 followed by SR8.
