Jaquie says, "I have a favourite collar with lappets made of Maltese lace, so the design for my Pèlerine came from that. I had to extend the collar and fill the centre with adaptations of other parts of the original collar. It took ages to tat plus about three weeks of evenings stitching it onto the net."
