Ring of Tatters Competition 2013

The competition is only open to Ring of Tatters members.

Theme:  “A Motif using split rings and colour”

Entry Deadline:  15th May 2013.

Only one entry per person.

Two prizes are awarded, one open to any entrant and the other open only to entrants who have never won before.

An additional prize is being sponsored this year by Maple Leaf Tatters of Canada, in memory of two of their former members. This will be awarded for the use of an original pattern, and is in addition to the two Ring of Tatters prizes.

There are a couple patterns on our website with split rings:

  • Shirley Hill – Dragonfly
  • Jane Eborall – Shuttle Shaped Motif
  • Jane Eborall - Tiny Star
  • Jane Eborall – Beaded Bookmark
  • Rosemarie Peel – Edging

    Also there are three patterns in each of the Spring 2013 and Autumn 2012 Newsletters that contain split rings. So if you don't want to design your own, there are plenty to choose from.
